There is something incredibly beautiful and soul shattering about intense sadness - the kind that fills your chest when you’ve been devastated by something. The kind that paralyzes you. The kind that makes you feel as if you’re dying. It happens when you’ve lost something so precious and you don’t know where to go from there, so all you can do it choke and sob and stutter and try so hard to keep it together.
I don’t think there’s any other more intense experience in human existence.
